Inspect cameras and scenes
Review each priority view under its hardest conditions.
- Clean lenses and housings; inspect seals, mounts, corrosion, and damage
- Check focus, aim, horizon, identification distance, and privacy masks
- Remove vegetation, inventory, signage, webs, and other obstructions
- Test darkness, glare, headlights, rain, and infrared reflection

Verify recording and infrastructure
Confirm timestamps, frame rate, resolution, retention, playback, export, storage health, switches, cabling, wireless links, backup power, and bandwidth. Apply supported firmware through change control.

Test users and workflows
Review accounts and permissions, remove inactive access, test analytics and notifications, confirm monitoring views and instructions, export a sample incident, and document defects through closure.
