What to define before integration
- Priority zones and the events that require immediate review
- Coverage hours and exceptions for staff, deliveries, and contractors
- Who receives notifications and who can authorize dispatch
- Video retention, access permissions, and incident-reporting needs
- Fallback procedures for network, power, or device interruptions
- A testing schedule for cameras, doors, alarms, and escalation paths
